Kieran has been playing music for over 30 years. After gaining a foundation of music studying classical piano, he began playing guitar in junior high on a heavy metal guitar with spikes. Twenty years later, Kieran began studying cello with the inimitable Rushad Eggleston and went on to incorporate many modern stylings for cello while playing with a diverse roster of bands. In addition to live performance, he has recorded several albums of original music in which he plays all of the instruments, including piano, guitar, cello, and banjo. Passionate about travel and collaborating with musicians from other cultures, Kieran has taken his music to places far and wide including France, India, Nepal, Tanzania, Burning Man, and in clubs, coffee shops and farmer’s markets across the United States. Today, he lives and loves in Portland Oregon, performing, teaching music, playing weddings, and using music and hypnotherapy to help others heal, grow, and smile.
