Glass Temple
Recorded late at night in a ceremonial temple in the Sacred Valley in Peru, Glass Temple is a musical prayer of medicine songs and sacred songs learned from musicians in Peru and elsewhere. Instruments tuned to 432hz and recorded single-mic with no overdubs or second takes in an exceptionally sweet-sounding acoustic space, these are my most intimate recordings.
Yellow Moon Over Portland
A moonlit celebration of acoustic imagery based on cello, acoustic guitars, and piano.
Henhouse Sessions
Featuring two-time Florida State Fiddle Champion Jason Thomas and bluegrass mandolinist Ben Winship, the Henhouse Sessions is a collection of bluegrass and fiddle tunes recorded in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Groove
Written and recorded while working at the Smithsonian Folkways Music Archive in Washington DC, Groove was inspired by folk and Appalachian music.
Christmas in Jackson Hole
A collection of holiday classics and festive Appalachian melodies in an intimate acoustic setting. Accompanied by Ryan Foxley and Doug Woody on fiddles, and Patti Marshall on bass.
